Berlin Mixed Use

The building is a live and work unit located near the former Berlin Wall. The project revolves around the idea of in-between spaces: places to be exposed and places to seek privacy. An outdoor staircase creates a linear accessibility allowing the creation of outside spaces with multiples appropriations. A green layer creates privacy for the living and working main areas incorporating vegetation into the design and contributing to a multi-species city.
