The competition brief asked for ideas for an area extended 24 kilometers along the river Tejo in Portugal.
The project is based on the idea Beauty is already there.
By defining “ROOMS” in the landscape the whole territory is connected with a succession of spaces. PATHS cross these ROOMS and enhance special points to enjoy the landscape. These points form a network of built objects. The use of the river is proposed as a canal, boats connect all the ROOMS. Each boatstop is connected to the network by at least one PATH.
